Position: Protection and Control (P&C) Engineer Location: Fully Remote Duration: 6-month contract to hire P&C Engineer Pay Rate: $40-$45 h/r Benefits Included REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of substation protection & control design and/or field testing/commissioning experience. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Experience executing substation P&C projects. Ability to read/design one-line, three-line, AC/DC schematic and wiring drawings. Strong communication, analytical/problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently. Willingness to travel to project/client sites. JOB DESCRIPTION: Designing substation P&C projects from 12kV through 500kV, including relay one-lines, three-line AC schematics, DC protection schematics, panel layouts/wiring, BOMs and QC checks. They’ll support projects from scoping through final design/implementation and construction support while working with engineers, designers and CAD technicians.
