We are looking for a passionate BI Manager– Commercial Lines who will embrace the opportunity to address the industry pain points and help our TPA grow to a world class claims service leader. This role will manage the Commercial Lines Auto Bodily Injury team in the US and its territories. This is a remote role, with preference for candidates in the EST/CST time zones.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Owns the development and performance of a Commercial Auto claims teams, ensuring the quality, accuracy, and timely resolution of Commercial Auto bodily injury claims of moderate to high complexity and/or severity.
\n
• Oversee the handling of all aspects of the claims assigned to the team including reserving, communication, documentation, litigation management, evaluation, negotiation and settlement.
\n
• Providing technical and administrative oversight to claims professionals tasked with producing high-quality claim results.
\n
• Foster an environment of timely and accurate case evaluations that clearly assess the probability of success and initiate disposition strategy, using all forums for timely negotiation.
\n
• Lead, coach, train and develop your team of 5 to 7 bodily injury adjusters
\n
• Manage claim metric dashboards that highlight adjuster performance and effectively manage both high and low performers within the team.
\n
• Partner and collaborate with our technology and data teams to ensure your claims teams are enabled with transformative technology solutions and capturing the most important data throughout the life of the claim.
\n
• Ensure team provides consistent, empathetic, and excellent service to claimants, customers, and clients throughout the auto claim lifecycle.
\n
• Ensure compliance with claim handling best practices, regulatory requirements, internal service standards and SLAs
\n
• Monitor key performance indicators, claim quality metrics, and service level agreements.
\n
• Identify trends, emerging risks, and process improvement opportunities.
\n

What You Bring

\n
• Bachelors and/or SCLA preferred, but all qualified candidates will be considered.
\n
• 7+ years of related experience in leadership managing professionals in a multi-jurisdictional high complexity/severity environment.
\n
• 5+ years Complex Liability Litigation experience, handling high severity Bodily Injury exposures.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise managing high-exposure bodily injury and litigated liability claims.
\n
• Individual Independent State Adjuster licenses required based on states working. Ability to obtain proper licensing as required within 30 days of hire.

• Expert claims knowledge in First and Third Party Personal & Commercial auto claims handling.
\n
• Excellent analytical reasoning with ability to make autonomous decisions.
\n
• Comfortable leading teams with high frequency/ low to moderate severity claims
\n
• Good written & verbal communication
\n
• Ability to work in a high production environment utilizing various technology solutions and claims performance dashboards that show key claim metrics, including cycle time and closing ratios.
